New news

What the healthy mother in me says:
I'm glad we caught it early
Now we have some direction
books to read, a subject to google
useful information to help our child progress

We'll take this head on
and we will be victorious

What the other mother in me says:
Dang it, this stinks.
(but she doesn't use the word stinks. She's not very proper.)

The wise and loving mother in you will conquer! You are an amazing example of hope and faith. I haven't known you as long as some, but well enough to know that you are a crusader for good!!

Are you referring to Nick or one of the other kiddos? What's one more diagnosis, that's what I say.

Can you hear our non-substitute words from 2,000+ miles away? Sorry to hear this latest news. But we know that under you and Bo's care, your children will thrive!

There you go again - reminding me how trivial my trials are compared to yours. Keep your chin up.

I'm not sure the label makes 2 cents worth of difference. It was stinky yesterday, before you knew. Now it's stinky still and you have a stack of books with stinky titles. The best of all of them is The Difficult Child. It tells you that it's stinky with or without a diagnosis. Tells you it's not your fault. And then tells you how not to make it worse. That's my goal in life: Don't make anything worse than it is.

It's a good thing you don't live by me because I already checked out all the books about ADD/difficult child from the library and there would be non left for you to check out! Good luck, let me know which books you like best.
