The sky was a passive shade of blue just before it turned to an ornery gray. And there it was, a wall of hail. My windshield wipers waved back and forth frantically as I lightened my foot on the accelerator. I saw a policeman pulled off to the shoulder issuing what looked to be a speeding ticket. He was soaked to the bone. It was odd to me that he was carrying on while being pelted by an onslaught of pea sized hail. Not two seconds later I exited out the other side of the thick wall. That officer was stuck in the one square mile of hail that was hitting I-15 at that moment. It got me thinking . . .

It isn't wise to stop in hail.
You may just get stuck there
when, in fact, blue skies were only moments away.

Interesting. Makes me think of Dad's mantra for going down the highway in a blizzard - "Just keep moving" Interesting
