Dear Mom and Dad,

Four early risers.  Four excited children.  Four Easter baskets waiting downstairs.  Bacon, egg and cheese biscuits for breakfast.  Priesthood holders off to set up chairs.  Brandon and Brayden sitting at the sacrament table looking handsome and worthy.  Brayden does an absolutely beautiful job blessing the sacrament for the first time.  If he's nervous no one can tell.  A wonderful sacrament meeting full of personal experiences, scriptures and the spirit.  Home at noon for roast, cheesy potatoes, rolls and fresh green beans with cherry tomatoes served on Sarah's dainty china.  The first time drinking apple-mango sparkling cider from our own, newly purchased goblets.  Warm brownies, homemade ice cream.  Seventy degree weather.  Blue skies.

Allie waltzes through the kitchen, "It doesn't really feel like Easter.  It just feels like a regular day."

"Why do you think that is?" I ask in return.

"Because we're not going to Grandma and Grandpa's."

You are missed today.  Thank you for showing us through your actions what true gratitude for our Savior looks like.

All my love,
