busy cleaning the sliding glass door that will be covered in water balloon sludge in less than 5 minutes, busy mopping the floor that will have purple otter pop splattered across it by midday, busy finishing the paint job in the basement that was started 6 months ago, busy feeding 15 little mouths at lunchtime, busy cleaning out the fridge and rearranging 15 varieties of salad dressing and busy counting the other 42 condiments crowding my refrigerator, busy shuttling to and from the golf course and lacrosse and tumbling and guitar and scouts, busy sun blocking, busy intervening in fights, busy painting tiny toenails the colors of the rainbow . . .
so maybe tomorrow
but not today,
P.S. Happy to report that the annual Chad Lewis Golf Classic went swimmingly this year. My sweetheart sits on the board of the Utah/Idaho Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and he dedicates countless hours to making this tournament a success each year. He does it for my brother, Matt, who fights CF everyday. He does it for Matt's wife, for Matt's twin boys, for our mom and dad, for me, for himself. He's buying us all more time with the one we love.
