Remembering

those who have so valiantly served -

their bodies are growing weak but their spirits shined brightly

as we laughed and reminisced the evening away. 

Spontaneous waffle dinner at Grammy and Grandpa's

followed by a visit to Grandma & Grandpa Ross's graves

the day turned into dusk as we returned home
to enjoy some homemade cookies & cream ice cream together

 full of gratitude for the great legacy 

our loved ones have left.
