I did it. I broke it off.

I have a completely unhealthy relationship with Costco.  What used to be the $100 store somehow turned into the $200 - $300 store.  After filling up with fuel and picking out my roasted chicken I slapped my card on the counter and requested it be canceled.

It's finally over.

now that you have done that you need to get into coupons, store specials/ads, you will be amazed how much you save and also how much more you $$ will carry you and realize that COSTCO totally screwed you out of a nice retirement...........

Way to go! We broke off that relationship after a years membership. Empowering indeed.

How could you?
Especially when you purchased my card for me!

I don't know what to say...

I still have my card, but we have an understanding, I spend only when "necessary" and it doesn't tattle on me.

What? No Costco. Are you saying this isn't a necessity? What are you going to do, just buy apples by the one instead by the groups of 12? One bottle of pasta sauce instead of three at a time? How will you function? I'm staying tuned...I'll bet a bunch of bananas that you'll rejoin by next year.
