I had passed it by

. . . but as I was sitting at the dinner table
I couldn't get it off my mind.

When I returned it was still there, perched on the curb
the quickly scribbled "free" sign
waving in the evening wind.

It doesn't match a single solitary thing
and that makes me smile.

Another thing that makes me smile?
"I'm Never Going Back Again" by Fleetwood Mac
Number 21 on my playlist.
I could listen to it till the cows come home.
Bo is learning how to play it on the guitar
because he knows how much I  love it.

That REALLY makes me smile.

How funny. Sydney brought me the other one. It's on my front porch. Maybe it will adorn a pot of something pretty once all of the snow has melted.

Love Emily

So cool! And it totally matches those magazines on it. I think that's a great find. A small treasure for $0! My kind of day.

I have two rustic white chairs that I love. I haven't found the right home for them yet, but for now they serve as good time out chairs.

The color of your walls makes my heart flutter.

Please tell me how you get your signature on your blog without a frame/border.

That song is such a great one. It reminds me of a good friend who use to listen to it non-stop in high school. I love when music = people.
