Four years ago
my friend and I started an autism support group.
Once a month we meet together to encourage, celebrate,
brainstorm and support.
Our new mantra is "I am FREAKIN' AMAZING!"
If only I ran a t-shirt company . . .

We got Nick started with special needs soccer a few years ago.
Twice a week I'm sitting on the sidelines with parents
who cheer every kick, every goal, every moment the players stay on the field.
It's a wonderfully accepting atmosphere
lots of good mojo there.
I have met some of my very favorite people through the autism community.
Surrounding myself with others who are in the same boat
always makes me feel like a winner,

thanks for being there for me when I was a newbie to the autism community. You inspire and encourage. I have been meaning to tell you that.
