Potatoe Potata, Tomatoe Tomata

: to make more violent, bitter, or severe
ex·ac·er·ba·tion \-ˌza-sər-ˈbā-shən\ noun

I used the word exasterbate in a conversation with my sweetheart last night. He informed me that I was pronouncing it incorrectly. We argued about it for a brief moment before we decided to phone a friend (we were in the car at the time). The "friend" he chose to dial up was my mom. Turns out he was right, it's pronounced exacerbate.

They of course proceeded to make plenty of jokes at my expense
which, if you ask me, only exasterbated the situation.

Don't you hate it when you realize you've been pronouncing something wrong for the past 38 years?

I'm infamous for singing the wrong words to songs.
How about Stings lyrics:
"I'm an alien. I'm a little alien."

Brandon seems to think it's "a legal alien."
Whatever. That's so boring.

That made me laugh out loud! Exasterbate!

It's funny because Steve and I always argue about stuff like that, and then we call MY mom to find out who's right. It's usually me. :) AND he sings the words to every song wrong.
