oh please help him not to get lost

maybe I should have put his medical id bracelet on him
i hope he doesn't lose his money for the trading post
i should have given it to his leader
i think his camelback is too heavy
it might be distracting
i probably should have just sent a water bottle
i hope he can keep up with the other scouts
i hope they are patient with him
i hope, i hope, i hope he doesn't have a meltdown
and throw his hat
or his camelback
or his money
or shoot someone at archery

maybe i should have gone.

my fingers are sticking to the keyboard as i type
it is covered in otterpop
orange and grape
and there is a puddle of orange on the floor
and drops of lime across my tile

apparently everyone is too busy soaking up summer to notice

Oh, he looks so excited! I'll bet he has a blast and everything goes just fine. I'd tell you not to worry, but you're a mom; it's your job. :)

He looks so cute. Don't you just love the kids who are patient? I know it isn't easy for them but it makes such a difference in our lives.

It is a mother's job to worry. He does look soooo excite and he is by far the cutest Boy Scout I have ever seen!

Dear Jodi, That is the picture of the cutest little scout that I have ever seen. It's our job as moms to worry...but don't worry.
Love Ya, Joy

Can you believe this is the age we started 'dropping off' Matt at CF camp?? No wonder I would cry all the way down the canyon.
