It's a favorite line of my sweetheart's
as I inevitably get up from the table a million times per meal.
Today I had seven children served up, eating noisily at the kitchen table
and as I raised spoonful of cold mac and cheese to my own lips
a neighbor boy asked for seconds with an ensuing chorus to follow
I smiled to myself as I heard Brandon's voice in my mind
"My mother hadn't had a hot meal . . ."
I hate sending him back to work after a long weekend.
Life is so much more fun when he's here,

Cold or not, anything would be fun to eat on those cute plates. You are such the hostess!
Gina's and my brother Jim has been saying that same quote about our Mom forever too! So true!
