Someone who makes you laugh
a lot
all day preferably
someone who tells you you are beautiful
even when you have bed head
and sheet imprints on the side of your face
someone who calls throughout the day
to keep you updated on the latest office drama
and to listen to all the riveting neighborhood news
someone to celebrate children's grades with
and someone to curse the children's grades with
someone who tells you you're a good mom
even when you're going down in flames
someone who asks you on dates
and holds your hand
and kisses you at inappropriate times
someone who makes you wake up smiling every morning
and keeps you smiling every day
except when you don't want to smile
and then they are patient and understanding
and they wait for the next day when you feel like smiling again
and you always feel like smiling again
because they are with you
