Do you remember being a teenager

driving down the freeway alone at night
with all the windows rolled down,
the wind whipping your hair into soft knots
the cold air licking at your face
with the music turned up so loud
you can feel it pounding in your chest?

Well it's even better as an adult.
(even if it does involve a minivan)

give it a try,

Spring and summer always fill me with this reckless impulse to crank up the radio, roll down the windows, and hit the highway going as fast as legally possible to somewhere...anywhere! I've found that just like the minivan, having a kid in a carseat in the back surprisingly doesn't kill the urge either. Good thing Ell digs my music!

Good thing your vehicle is a mini van and not the one we drove around in! LOL :) doesn't that just make you laugh thinking about that! I hope the music that was pounding was something like "Def Leppard-baby!"
