the fatigue from going to bed late every night
and waking to an alarm in the dark of each morning.
The little girl that wakes up every. single. night.
the emails from teachers.
the steady stream of disclosure statements to read and sign
the homework. oh the homework.
remembering tennis shoes on P.E. days
(if I can even remember which days those are).
remembering lunch money, show and share,
picture day, golf, piano, guitar, scouts, young mens, soccer . . .
it just goes on, and on, and on.
And all that free time I was going to have
when the kids went back to school?
Nonexistent
like Bigfoot, "Nessie" and fat free double stuff oreos.
My to-do list is longer,
the house is dirtier,
the weeds are higher.
getting back into the swing of things -
It WILL happen!
Primary program on Sunday. The kids killed it!
