"Mama, what if I didn't have autism?"

"I don't know Nick. What if I didn't have brown hair?"

"Then it would be black. I don't want to have autism when I grow up."

"Keep working hard buddy, and we'll see."

We revel in the miracle of the progress he has made.
He was communicating with sign language only three short years ago.

His voice is beautiful.

Jodi, I have tears running down my cheeks. HE DID AMAZING! No one can tell a story the way Nick does. He has such joy in what he is telling and adds so much character to the story. I love his smile as he portrays the crocodile and says what the crocodile eats .. red mouthed frogs.. priceless!

Bravo Nick! You did so good. I think this is now one of my FAVORITE stories!

Thanks for posting this Jodi.
Tell Nick that when I grow up I don't want to have migraines anymore either!

He he he. That was so great! I could see him getting excited at the end as the frog met the crocodile. And then his little mouth at the last line making the joke so funny. How awesome! He's a miracle.

Nick is a great storyteller as well as a beautiful artist. He told it with such enthusiasm and animation...and to see his confidence and excitement increase the longer he stood there. Loved it, Nick, and thanks for sharing!

I have always had a soft spot for Nick. He has always been so close to his Heavenly Father. I can feel it every time he talks and share his thoughts and stories.
